@Sh0tgunJunior Yeah, suppose. Well, I loved it! lol, I think the DVD was out… Today? If so, i’ll be getting it tomorrow. & yeah people made a HUGE deal about it…. “Awh, you HAVE to watch in 3D” but I think that 3D would ruin the QUALITY of it…. 3D Glasses are shit… ^^ & I thought the animation/CG effects/Special effects were STUNNING. Loved em… that’s why I will be working my way through education to be a top Animator/Editor.

I agree. Great special effects and great art design. Those avatars were really well done while they were still being played by humans. And the actors were good too. I didn’t say I didn’t enjoy the movie. Because I did, but I just didn’t think it was that good as everybody is saying! And if I saw the movie once I usually don’t want to watch it again. Maybe in a few years when I forgot the story.
@Sh0tgunJunior fair enough , everyone has their own opinion. I am not going to argue with you, infact I agree with you. SURE the movie wasn’t SPECTACULAR but it was amazingly done… those special effects are absolutely STUNNING… I felt that the movie was one of the greatest movies of all time. Like….. I have only seen it ONCE but i’ll be getting on Blue-Ray DVD.

Terminator impressed me. Aliens impressed me. War of the Worlds impressed me. Lord of the Rings impressed me. Star Wars impressed me. Pirates of the Caribbean impressed me.
This movie didn’t impress me. I watched it in 3D as well. If it’s that good and made by James Cameron it should be mind blowing and it wasn’t. It was a great movie, but it doesn’t deserve a spot among the best movies of all time. The idea was good, but it should have been more spectacular.

@dethmerc wow, deal with it. Dont you morons realize yet that we are a DESTRUCTIVE species. What do you expect when we are only maybe 100,000 years running in a billions of years kind of world? We have alot to learn, give it more than a few years, our evolution is a long slow process. There will be a day when we finally realize we can do more good than harm. It just takes time, be patient. A MOVIE IS MEANT FOR ENTERTAINMENT..PERIOD!!

Personally i say to people to hold off until November, because the DVD, Blu-ray and DL that has just released, has nothing!
–No deleted scenes, No Making, no special Features, no Extended cut, just the Thetrical version.
In November the Ultimate Edition will be released on Blu-ray which will contain everything (Special Features, Making of, Deleted scenes, and Extended version). Also Next year AVATAR will be released on 3D Blu-ray, for the same 3D experience that was in the theaters.
@gjmvi yes but it does hint to those things and it takes people like you for the message not to get through. Even though it is only a movie it can convey messages that are ment to relate to the real world. If you didn’t already notice, humans have not done 1 good thing for this planet. @monkey1o8 No. Just as the title says, it’s just normal HD. It still looks good, but not quite as good as Blu-Ray. So far, the only way to get 100% Blu-Ray quality, is to buy them in disc format.
@jawehawk It’s not just global warming though. We’re polluting, using up finite resources, and cutting down the same forests that we need to remove the excess CO2 from the air.
I’m not talking about tree-hugging BS either. Where I live it sometimes gets so polluted that our weather dept’s pollution index actually maxes out, & we’re advised not to do outdoor activities
The message of not just taking everything that we want without considering the consequences seems pretty relevant to me
