Well, they apparently didn’t do it on purpose. But did you see some people’s reactions!!! There were people tearing their ps3′s apart!!! Damn, I was mad, but who goes to that EXTREME to do that? Plus, I made this video before anybody knew just exactly what was going on. For all I knew my whole ps3 was corrupted. Just saying.

dude it was a “calendarbug” inside of the fat ps3. someway you could say your ps3 “though” it was the 29th but it was not. you were unable to go on PSN because the database between PSN and your system was not correct. it was also not possible to play some singeplayer games because the trophy thing was set on march 1st. so you can say your ps3 “did not know it was march 1st”. it sounds like bullshit but this is the truth.

Sony didn’t fix it, they are just taking credit for it. What was fucked up was the internal clock thinking it was Feb. 29th. Once it turned to March 1st at 7 p.m. est, it fixed itself. The clock runs on GMT, which is a day ahead of us.
just watch ittl start happenin more an more they want to do away with the old ps3 systems an have everyone buy the peice of crap slim ones even tho every slim system they have ever made has been a PEICE OF S&^%
