Classic Game Room HD reviews PERSONA 3 for Sony PSP from Atlus. Part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, Persona 3 is like Dark City meets dark anime, a trippy tale about the Lost Hour, Shadows and Evokers that bring out the Personas in teens fighting for the future or something… Persona 3 was originally released for the Playstation 2 PS2 in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in North America. This version on the PSP has a new female lead character (in addition to the regular male character) that has some additional plot elements. Fuse personas (aka Demons from the other SMT games) into more powerful personas which act as magic spells and weapons in turn based combat. Persona 3 is a JRPG (Japanese style role playing game) dripping with that unique Shin Megami Tensei style which masks its turn based, dungeon crawling heart. This CGR review of Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 has gameplay from Persona 3 showing video game play of Persona 3 on Sony PSP. Persona 3 is rated M for mature.

@toushuro Persona basically means Personality. I’ve never heard of Personae.
ER can i ask when i play this game at some point it will lag and unable to continue issit the game or my psp?If its either pls someone help?
@BluntmanEXE Satan, Lucifer, Helel, they all have a persona. I thought it was a bit odd since they are generally just a different name for the same entity.
Then again, I’m sure Mara helped with that M rating a bit as well… *shudders* Frickin’ Mara.

That made me laugh so hard. It’s roughly 2:10
ATLUS:rated M for mature
me: why this doesnt even have blood.
ATLUS: No, i just wont allow kids to screw MY Mitsuru
me: owh
I like how he mentions Devil Summoner in every review, but never mentions DDS or Nocturne which are far superior.
does this game have a lot of nudity or sexual themes
@toushuro well personas is people in spanish >.>
1:58 – That boss’s boobs say BJ…
Does it mean blowjob?
@tapion567 Well, it deals with some mature issues. Let’s put it this way. When you reach a high-enough level, you can fuse SATAN. I am dead serious.
but still their envokers are badass.
i love faking suicide ya know?
It’s P-E-R-S-O-N-A-E not personas…. that’s not even a word
@tapion567 Well it involves teenagers shooting themselves in the head. That’s a big one. And some personas and shadows also show a little bit of boob. That is mostly it. That and the cursing and other sexual references.
Note – Playing this too much may have the same effect as watching a horror movie before bed every night.
If you are on CFW, download the Undub version if you prefer English Subs over Dubs. Make sure you also buy the UMD to support the creators, if you can…
why is this game mature rated? i ‘ve been playing this game for almost 25 hours and i havent seen anything real bad. The worst cuss words ive heard are “s$it”. plus there is not really any gore in it or anything too graphic. Shouldnt this game have gotten a “teen” rating instead of “mature” rating
this game is not only one of the best psp games of the year, its also of the best psp games of all time. The game is fun, has a sim style to it, and overall excellent gameplay. this game is the reason why you should buy a psp.
@BlitzyBoyFool no you cant, i have the game and i already tried. but the english voice acting isnt that bad
@rubenmorales19 Persona Translates mask in latin

Obviously, and all catholics are pedophiles.
This game is a bit too hard and a bit boring at times. Theres a lot of micromanaging that I like like to call a more boring version of bully. The ending was good but for me I don’t think it was worth it. Persona 4 streamlined it and made the game much better. Persona 2 had the best story line imo though. And persona 4 made me feel like I mattered to the game saving lives etc.
speaking as someone who played the Ps2 version, this is the greatest game ever made. get it
